Position Overview
We are seeking a highly driven Italy Regional Sales Manager to lead the sales strategy and execution in Italy. The role involves managing a team of sales professionals, driving business growth, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets in alignment with the company’s overall objectives. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Italian and English, with a proven track record of leading successful sales teams in the industrial or B2B sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the regional sales strategy for Italy in alignment with the company’s goals.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed their sales targets.
- Manage and nurture relationships with key clients and partners, driving customer satisfaction and new business opportunities.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities, adjusting sales strategies as needed.
- Monitor and report sales performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate with the marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure seamless client acquisition and retention.
- Prepare sales forecasts, manage the sales pipeline, and ensure timely execution of strategies.
- Drive negotiations and close high-value deals, ensuring profitability and long-term success.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance the company’s presence.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and compliance with relevant regulations in the region.
- Build and maintain strong connections with NOCs, EPCs, and major steel pipe distributors.
Skills Required
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to analyze data and market trends.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management tools.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving business growth.
- Excellent team management skills and the ability to lead a high-performing sales team.
- Fluency in Italian and English, both spoken and written.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- At least 5-7 years of sales experience, with 3+ years in a managerial role, ideally within the industrial, manufacturing, or B2B sectors.
- Availability to travel within the region and occasionally abroad for client meetings and trade shows.
- Location - Based in Italy with regional travel as required.
